Greg and his wife Helen have welcomed their second child into the world! It's a girl! They named her Audrey. I was really hoping for a boy so they could name him "GregKinnear.net" He promised!
Audrey joins their other daughter, Lily, who was born in 2003.

Bad pun I know. But apt. Greg Kinnear recently started filming an untitled military film set in Iraq. The film also stars Amy Ryan and Matt "Not Ben Affleck" Damon. The film is being directed by Paul Greengrass and is an adaption of Rajiv Chandrasekaran’s nonfiction book “Imperial Life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone.”
And if there is any Kinnear that is ready for active duty in Iraq, it'd be the Kinnear in this photo.
Just kidding. Love ya Greggie!

Well sorta. He is set to star in the scripted remake of the documentary "King of Kong" though. The original documented the rise and fall of a Donkey Kong champion. It's a clever little film actually. You should check it out in the meantime. Greg's version, however, begins lensing later on in the year. Let's all buy our tickets in quarters.

A Philadelphia blogger recently spotted Greg filming a movie called "Baby Mama" over there in the city of brotherly love. He snapped some pics and claims that this one is of Greg's posterior:
I don't know. I used to consider myself an expert on the Kinnear backside and I'm just not sold yet. Maybe if he mooned the procession.
In any event, the movie costars Tiny Fey and will be out next year. In the meantime, enjoy a verified photo of Greg's keister:
Greg's new film "Feast of Love" opens in theaters on September 30th. Morgan Freeman is in it! And guess what? He plays someone wise. He plays wisdom so well. I'd love to see him tackle something like Forrest Gump. He'd probably be wise even then. My esteemed mother always trumped, "Life is varied in it's scope and reason much like a box of confections."
Selma Blair is also in it who haunts my dreams even though she was once married to a Zappa. Or maybe it's because of that? Who can tell anymore. These are confusing times.
Here is the trailer:

Did you know that over there at Divatribe.com there is a blog whose sole purpose is to illuminate continuity errors in Greg Kinnear films? Well now you do. Thank me later.
Finally! I am the possessor of the ultimate nuggets of wisdom! I now know what happened to that lemon slice during the infamous lunch scene between Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail". Greg was very likable in that one. And I've always wondered what happened during that scene in "Godsend" when he suddenly shifted seats in the middle of a drive. My life is finally complete.
Yours can be too by the way. Happiness begets happiness. Here ya go:

Cinematical.com reports that Greg Kinnear recently landed the role of
Robert Kearns in a new biopic entitled "Flash of Genius". Kearns, you probably won't remember, is the inventor of that handy doodad the windshield wiper. Apparantly the auto industry swiped his idea(what?! I find that hard to believe.) and then everybody sued one another for many years until Robert ended up in a sea of money. Lauren Graham will play his embittered wife.
Greg Kinnear is a likable and therefore he will knock this one out of the park. However, I am a bit scared for the titular moment when he actually has a flash of genius and realizes "hey! these wipers can just move side to side and sometimes spit out fluid or something! wow!" Flux capacitor moments tend to be cheesy.
"Flash of Genius" just started shooting in Toronto. Go Canada!
